Some of my very best moments behind the camera are when I see children’s faces. Even when they are not being expressive. Their eyes are smiling and I wonder what they are thinking. I wait sometimes for the decisive moment when children give a naughty grin or when they are about to burst into laughter ... or when they are just staring into the distance and their little lips are quiet. Children are unique and brilliant, they offer light to my vision.

As I get older, yes, 32 is oldER ~ I realize more and more how much I LOVE my mom and dad. Even though they aren’t married to each other, their being creates a sense of security in my life. My sister and my niece are unfathomably important to my character and I partake in photographing them whenever I am able. As a photographer, I stress the importance of families taking the time to be together for a picture. It may seem daunting and uneasy to coordinate a time, but in the end.... I promise, it will make for a wonderful memory. Don’t let the time pass, life happens in a blink.
